Hi {{first_name}}!

It seems like so much has been moving so quickly over the past few months and I’m sending you this note to remind you to slow down, take a breath, and remember to enjoy the ride along the way!

Along my ride lately, I’ve been training for the New York City Marathon, auditioning for new shows, producing some films and helping people and companies share their message with the world.

A big part of what I’ve been doing lately is taking my experience from the stage and in front of the camera and helping people tell better stories and communicate more effectively, which I’ve really been loving.

Here's what I keep coming back to: acting class changed how I show up in every room. It’s been the foundation for how to connect and communicate more confidently and authentically with others, and I can’t think of anything else in life that has had such a profound effect on my ability to show up in the world empowered to navigate the challenges we all face.

Lately, I’ve had some amazing opportunities to share more of these same insights and it’s been incredible to see the impact it has made on so many.

No matter what we do in life, we’re going to face challenges, and the more we’re equipped with the tools and insight that can help us create our story, rather than being told what story we should be telling, the more we can embrace these challenges and use them to craft a legacy impact story worth living.

As I’ve shared this message on podcasts and more stages, I’ve been seeing it resonate on a larger scale with my keynote talks including with the folks at Entrepreneurs Organization Colorado, The Canadian Customer Service Experience Conference, The 7 Figures Funding Summit, Top Talent Hollywood, and Digifest Temecula, to name a few.

And recently I got asked to support a tech company called GenAIPI.org in getting their message out to the world regarding how to embrace the speed at which AI is being introduced and how to navigate the disruptive waves that have rippled throughout our lives lately because of it.

It’s been a lot to process over the past few months, which is why I’m going to be taking what I’ve learned recently and disseminating it here in this newsletter in bite-sized chunks to make embracing what’s going on in the world a little bit easier to digest.

I’m starting out by inviting you to check out my new website that I created recently with the help of a vibe coding platform called Replit. If you’re interested in creating your own website whether for yourself or your business, feel free to click on the link here to check it out and to see how with a few simple prompts, you can be massively creative without the need for an expert or deep pockets.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing updates about some cool events and things I have coming up, some new films that will be coming out that I’ve shot, and I’ll be inviting you to get out of your comfort zone to do more of the things that matter to you!

Let’s go!

THE NEW SITE IS LIVE 💫

Head over to colinegglesfield.com and take a look around.

It’s clean, it’s bold, and it’s built around two ideas: Communicate with Confidence. Inspire with Impact.

That’s not just a tagline. It’s the thread running through everything I do, from my acting, to my coaching, to this newsletter. Let me walk you through what you’ll find.

🎤 SPEAKING: OWN YOUR MOMENT

You may know me as an actor. But for the past several years, I’ve been doing something that lights me up just as much, stepping onto stages and helping leaders, teams, and organizations break through the gap between who they are and who they’re capable of being.

My signature keynote is called Own Your Moment and it’s built for rooms that need confidence, clarity, and momentum. The message is grounded in my real story: Hollywood actor, three-time cancer survivor, and someone who knows firsthand what it means to face your fear and step into the spotlight anyway.

If your organization, company, or event needs a speaker who delivers more than inspiration, someone who gives your audience practical tools they’ll actually use, I’d love to talk.

THE FRAMEWORK: IMPOSTER TO ICON 🔥

Here’s something most high-performers won’t admit:

They know what they should do. They don’t always feel like the person qualified to do it.

That gap, between capability and confidence, is not a skill problem. It’s an identity problem. It has a name: Imposter Syndrome. And it has a cure.

My framework, Imposter to Icon, is the system I’ve developed through years of acting training, public speaking, coaching hundreds of leaders, and yes, surviving cancer three times. It’s about building the kind of presence that doesn’t shrink under pressure.

This framework is the backbone of everything I do, the keynotes, the coaching, and this newsletter.

BOOKS 📕

I’ve written about my journey, the roles, the cameras, the diagnoses, my recoveries, and the inspiration. If you want to understand where I’m coming from and what drives everything I put out into the world, the Books section of the site is a good place to start.

🎬 MOVIE RECOMMENDATION OF THE WEEK

Each newsletter I’ll be sharing my latest fav movies, television shows and/or music so be sure to check out each drop so you don’t miss my recommendations! If you haven't seen The Devil Wears Prada 2 yet, click here to get your tickets.

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway are back, and they did not disappoint. The story picks up with Miranda Priestly fighting to keep Runway relevant in a world that's moved on from print media, while Andy is now a power player on the other side of the table. It’s a film about reinventing yourself, staying relevant, and what it really costs to be at the top which are themes I think about a lot when it comes to leadership, communicating with confidence and showing up to make impact.

Let me know what you think!
